許多同學(xué)認(rèn)為做雅思填空題時(shí)，只要自己能根據(jù)關(guān)鍵詞定位找到原文出處，再比對(duì)同義轉(zhuǎn)換就能得到正確答案。實(shí)則不然，總有那么些題目是被用來拉開分?jǐn)?shù)的。其中暗藏的難點(diǎn)說不定就會(huì)坑到你。

下面瀾大教育小瀾老師為你揭示一些填空題中暗藏的坑。對(duì)于這些難點(diǎn)，大家可以提高警覺，減少被坑到的概率。

考個(gè)別單詞較生僻的含義

例1：___________ produce is particularly expensive. （C6-T1-P3）對(duì)應(yīng)原文：It would cost a family around ￡7,000 a year to replace meat they obtained themselves through hunting with imported meat.
大部分學(xué)生好不容易找到這句話后，一看每年7000英鎊去進(jìn)行肉肉交換，的確這里的進(jìn)口肉夠貴，同義轉(zhuǎn)換有了，于是很容易去直接寫imported meat，接著就丟分了。
據(jù)我的大概的統(tǒng)計(jì)，在我的課堂做題的學(xué)生中，這道題目的正確率不到20%。甚至還聽一個(gè)學(xué)生提起過在他上課的國(guó)際學(xué)校里，閱讀老師讓他們把劍橋書本上的produce改成了product，說是題目出錯(cuò)了。這個(gè)實(shí)在是……
這道題目其實(shí)考的就是produce的含義。除了我們已經(jīng)非常熟悉的produce：v.生產(chǎn)，這個(gè)單詞還有個(gè)用得較少的意思：n. 農(nóng)產(chǎn)品。
所以說為啥imported meat不對(duì)，就是因?yàn)閙eat和produce已經(jīng)重復(fù)了。因此最終的正確答案只要寫imported就夠了，切勿畫蛇添足。
[小提示]有些機(jī)靈點(diǎn)的學(xué)生即使不明白produce的含義，也會(huì)去看句子結(jié)構(gòu)和詞性。其中因?yàn)橛衎e動(dòng)詞，所以produce怎么著都不可能是v.，那只可能是個(gè)n.。再比對(duì)imported meat，發(fā)現(xiàn)meat是個(gè)n.，因此去除掉同類詞性的meat后，也能得到正確的答案：imported。
[拓展]C11-T2-P3的第33道題目（Summary-選擇）中motifs和images的同義轉(zhuǎn)換,其實(shí)考的也是motif的較生僻含義。

of結(jié)構(gòu)短語(yǔ)的理解

例2：2007-the __________ of BOAT 1550BC took place (ONE WORD ONLY)（OG-T1-P1）
對(duì)應(yīng)原文：... and an official launch of the project was held at an international seminar in France in 2007.
根據(jù)時(shí)間來定位確實(shí)并不難，2007直接找到出題段。然后有學(xué)生看到was held跟took place同義轉(zhuǎn)換后直接大筆一揮：project，然后又錯(cuò)。
在這個(gè)地方，原文是an official launch of project。那么在這個(gè)地方我們應(yīng)當(dāng)要弄清楚究竟哪個(gè)才是核心詞。
舉個(gè)例子：a group of people和 the time of the event
前者of前的內(nèi)容是表示數(shù)量，所以重心是后面的n. people，后者of前是常規(guī)n.，翻譯過后是“事件的時(shí)間”，很明顯后面的n.做了time的修飾語(yǔ)。這時(shí)of前面的time是重點(diǎn)。
那我們?cè)倩剡^來看：the launch of the project中l(wèi)aunch: n.發(fā)布，也非數(shù)量，表示常規(guī)n.。而翻譯過后是：“項(xiàng)目的發(fā)布”。那因此不難看出重點(diǎn)是“發(fā)布”，而非“項(xiàng)目”，因此在這個(gè)空格中應(yīng)當(dāng)填寫的是launch。

例3：（C10-T1-P1）

Stepwell	Date	Features
Surya Kund	1026	Steps on the _________ produce a geometrical pattern

對(duì)應(yīng)原文：... including four sides of steps that descend to the bottom in a stunning geometrical formation.
由于沒有跟on一眼看上去很一致的同義轉(zhuǎn)換，學(xué)生可能會(huì)有些懵。這里其實(shí)也屬于是理解后的同義轉(zhuǎn)換了，要明白o(hù)f短語(yǔ)的含義：Four sides of steps（四周的臺(tái)階）——steps on the four sides（在四周上的臺(tái)階）。那么所以答案是four sides，而非有些同學(xué)找的bottom。

范圍限定

例4：A lawyer found that studying ________ helped even more than other areas of mathematics in the study of law. （C11-T3-P3）
對(duì)應(yīng)原文：A lawyer made the same point, ‘... I attribute much of my success there to having learned, through the study ofmathematics, and, in particular, theorems, how to analyze complicated principles in a way that most others cannot.’
很多學(xué)生根據(jù)lawyer很快定位到了這段后，看到這個(gè)律師把自己的成功歸功于數(shù)學(xué)后立馬在空格中填上了答案：mathematics，因?yàn)楹竺嬗衕elped嘛。
在這匆匆一眼瞥過后，往往漏看了題目中非常關(guān)鍵的限制條件：other areas of mathematics，那說明前面只能是數(shù)學(xué)的一個(gè)領(lǐng)域，而非數(shù)學(xué)這個(gè)過于寬泛的整體概念。那因此正確答案應(yīng)該是后面的theorems。
從這題看出，學(xué)生在做題的時(shí)候應(yīng)當(dāng)審清題目，注意限制范圍的情況。

指代理解

例5：2012- the Bronze-Age __________ featured the boat and other objects （OG-T1-P1）
對(duì)應(yīng)原文：Meanwhile, the exhibition was being prepared ready for opening in July 2012 at the Castle Museum in... it brought together for the first time a remarkable collection of Bronze-Age objects, including many new discovers for commercial archaeology and some of the great treasure of the past. The reconstructed boat, ..., was the centrepiece.
學(xué)生根據(jù)2012能很快找到相應(yīng)的段落。
其中的other objects在原文中也被同義轉(zhuǎn)換成：a remarkable collection of Bronze-Age objects, including many new discovers for commercial archaeology and some of the great treasure of the past.后面也緊接著出現(xiàn)了the reconstructed boat來對(duì)應(yīng)題目中的boat。
那所以這些事物都是it brought together的。但是這個(gè)地方并沒有直接出現(xiàn)答案，出題者則通過一個(gè)指代，將正確答案和同義轉(zhuǎn)換之間破開了個(gè)鴻溝。因此，想要做對(duì)此題，學(xué)生必須要能理解it指代的是什么。根據(jù)指代原則：一律往前找，最終看到前面的n. exhibition。通過理解指代，才能選出正確答案，現(xiàn)在的雅思也越來越注重內(nèi)容理解了。
