標點符號的使用一直是SAT語法的重頭內容，其中同位語標點符號的使用規(guī)則則是高頻考點，23年3月SAT考試, 僅module1就考了3道同位語的使用，可見該考點有多么受出題人的喜愛。該知識點其實并不難，但很多學生依然會在判斷的時候出現(xiàn)一些小失誤。今天我們就來聊一聊如何快速精準得判斷兩個名詞同位語之間的標點符號。

首先，什么是同位語(appositive)？簡單來說，同位語通常就是一個名詞或名詞性短語，出現(xiàn)在另一個名詞或代詞前后，用來解釋說明那個名詞。

例如：My brother's car, a sporty red convertible with bucket seats, is the envy of my friends.

紅色部分就是同位語。

這里 my brother’s car 和 a sporty red convertible with bucket seats之間是有逗號的，但還有很多情況下，我們是不加標點符號的，那么什么情況下加，什么情況下不加呢？

判斷規(guī)則如下：

1，當前面被解釋的名詞太寬泛，同位語和被解釋的名詞之間不需要加逗號。

The popular US president John Kennedy was known for his eloquent and inspirational speeches.

這里president與John Kennedy之間是不加逗號的，因為John Kennedy是核心信息，沒有該信息我們根本不知道是哪個總統(tǒng)。

2，如果前面被解釋的詞本身就很具體，去掉同位語不會極大的改變句意，那么就需要加標點符號

John Kennedy, the popular US president, was known for his eloquent and inspirational speeches.

我們來看兩道題：
